On the reverse side of the coin there is an image of a peach. Georgia is known as The Peach State and this fruit has long been a part of the state's history. In addition to the peach there are two live oak branches on the coin. These branches pay tribute to the state's official tree, the live oak. Georgia's state motto can also be seen on the coin. The state motto is 'Wisdom, Justice, Moderation'.

Silver Proof Quarter

About uncirculated- There is a slight trace of wear on the high points of the design. Half of the coin's mint luster is still intact.

MS 63 choice uncirculated- In the major focal areas there are some blemishes or contact marks. The coin's luster might not be as prominent.

MS 65 gem uncirculated- There is strong luster and eye appeal. A few light contact marks may be present but they are barely noticeable.

PR 65 proof- There are no flaws to this coin. A few blemishes may be present.
